Recent plans have changed for both Kelsey and I and neither of us will be traveling to Cambodia to teach for 10 months. As hard as it is to say it (let alone live it) we know that the Lord has a plan and a purpose for all things. God had been moving our hearts separately as we spent time with our families, and once we came together, prayed, fasted, and realized that to be obedient to the Lord, this time, it meant staying.
Our mission and vision, however has not changed. Education in Cambodia is vital to their future. Poverty is all too prevalent and education is allowing kids to step out of what they "should be" based on their current lives and move into who God intended them to be, ending the cycle of poverty and furthering the Kingdom of God.
All the money that has been raised is going directly to the kids scholarship fund for all the kids in the orphanage that graduate from the school. They are offered a full ride scholarship to get a bachelors degree either from the University of Phnom Penh or Cambodia Bible Institute. Tuition costs between $1,000 and $2,000 a year per student, depending on the school choice. With your help and investment, kids across the world can find new hope and new life.
